TRY-LINGUAL TEES FOR WALES

Our exclusive and fun, Wales-lovin' designs displaying slogans in Japanese, Welsh and English are a must-wear for fans travelling to the land of the rising sun to see Wales win the Rugby World Cup. (It's not often you find trilingual t-shirts, is it!) Japan is notoriously difficult for the typical foreign visitor but with slogans that include "Please give me directions to the nearest bar", these t-shirts will help break the ice (hopefully into your G and T) and make you new friends. (We've also described how to pronounce the Japanese translations below!) Order your t-shirt at the foot of the page.

The Japanese was kindly translated and checked by our customer, the lovely Yoko Hamada, who recently visited Cardiff from her native Japan to watch the Manics at Cardiff Castle. Yoko is looking forward to attending a couple of Wales' matches in the Rugby World Cup.

You don't have to travel to Japan to wear one (but it helps)!

HELLO! I'M WELSH (2 versions)

In addition to there being a male (Gymro) and female (Gymraes) version of the Welsh, to confuse the issues we've designed two t-shirts for this trilingual slogan. When you order a male t-shirt we'll automatically put 'Gymro' and likewise if you choose a women's t-shirt we'll print 'Gymraes' – unless you get in touch to tell us otherwise.

To say "Hello! I'm Welsh" in Japanese you would say "Kon ni chi wa! watashi wa Wales jin desu".

CYMRU AM BYTH

Written phonetically the Japanese for "Cymru am byth" is "Wales yo ei en nare." Bet you didn't know that, did you?

JOIN THE CWRW CREW

We loves this one. This amazing t-shirt is available with either Welsh or English translation at the bottom. Having spent 24 hours in Tokyo (and for 23 of them we were lost – did you know they don't have signs for their road names? None. Not even in Japanese!), and given bars are often located high above street level with zero signage or advertising, this T-Shirt could quite possibly save your life! To ask for directions to the nearest bar in Japanese you should say: "Moyori no bar eno michijun wo oshi e te kudasai." (Or maybe just point to the t-shirt!)

WELSH ON TOUR / CYMRY AR DAITH

Two designs available with an optional extra luggage tag for the reverse if so desired. You pronounce Welsh on tour as "Ryoko-tyu-no Wales jin desu" in Japanese.

Please allow 14 days for delivery due to this t-shirt being made to order, however it usually takes much less than this. We do have some in stock ready to go (as Alan in Thornhill discovered – he called us and had his t-shirts within the hour).
